I wanted to record the magpie,
But before soon it had got away.
I gave time to listen to what i had already saved.
A band rehearsing:
Recorded from the kitchen that overlooks
the garden area of the pub downstairs
Where bands hang out pre/post gig.

Before getting up and going onto the roof
To record the last impressions of that day
In that moment.
A soundscape of my life in London ends
with a siren and the sound of people paying to get on the 38.
I wanted to record the magpie,

I should have recorded the storm today,
To the point where I couldn't even see
The sea from the living room
Because the rain was so thick and dusty.
The sky's bellow
The clouds are overwhelmed
From the storm this summer
To my life from last summer.
A year's life in sound exchange.
